KamalCV return, refund and cancellation policy

KamalCV is a digital service (a subscription for a fixed period), not a product that is shipped or returned, so a “return” here simply means getting your subscription fee refunded. Here we explain in detail when and how you can get your subscription refunded, in line with Egypt's Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.

1. Summary

In short: You may ask for a refund within 14 days of your subscription being activated, with no reason needed, as long as you have not downloaded any PDF during that subscription. We return the money within 7 days of accepting your request, by the same payment method.

2. Conditions for a refund

  • Your request reaches us within 14 days of the day the subscription was activated.
  • No PDF has been downloaded from your account during this subscription. Downloading is the actual use of the service, and our system records it.
  • The request is sent by the account owner, from the email registered on the account.

3. When a refund does not apply

  • After any PDF has been downloaded during the subscription, because the service is considered used.
  • After 14 days from the day the subscription was activated.
  • If the account was suspended for breaking the terms and conditions.

Exception: If we cannot provide the service because of a fault on our side and do not fix it within a reasonable time, you get your whole subscription back even if you have downloaded files.

4. How to ask for a refund

  • Open the contact page and choose the topic “Subscription and payment”.
  • Write your account email, the date and method of payment, and the transaction number if you have one.
  • We will review your request and reply with an approval or the reason for declining.

5. When you get your money back

  • We return the money within 7 days of accepting your request, by the same payment method you used (your wallet or your card) and in the same currency.
  • It may take longer to show up in your account depending on the payment provider or your bank, which is outside our hands.

6. Cancellation policy and no automatic renewal

  • A subscription never renews automatically and we never charge you without your request, so there is nothing to cancel: it simply ends when its period ends.
  • When a refund is made the subscription ends at once, your account goes back to the free plan, and your resumes stay saved.
  • You can delete your account and all its data at any time from the settings page (see the terms and conditions).
